NCAA: College Football Playoff Schedule Officially Released

December 4, 2016 • Ben Heck • Breaking News, Front Page, NCAA

Remember how we thought that having a four-team playoff system would limit the debating at the end of each college football season?

Yeah, well, that didn’t quite work out as we all had hoped.

There’s still just as much debate about who should be in the top four as we did back when the BCS standings were released and there was debate-galore over whether the No. 3-ranked team should be bumped up into the National Championship.

This year’s College Football Playoff rankings/schedule has officially been released and, *gasp*, it doesn’t include Penn State.

Instead, the Nittany Lions sit at No. 5 and on the outside looking in. Tough news for Penn State fans following last night’s incredible comeback victory over Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship.

I’ll be honest, I’d take Penn State at No. 4 over Washington. But hey, no one cares what I think.
