With the Rams leaving town over the off-season, St. Louis football fans have been struggling to cope with the fact they will no longer be able to enjoy NFL games at the dome every Sunday afternoon during the fall. Especially now that training camps are about to be in full swing, and they realize the Rams will be all the way over on the west coast in Los Angeles, CA.
That’s where future Hall of Fame receiver Isaac Bruce and his foundation––the Isaac Bruce Foundation––swooped in to bring the community together for a big game one last time. The “Legends of the Dome” flag football game, which took place Saturday July 23 in St. Louis, MO, reunited Bruce with a few of his Greatest Show on Turf teammates from the magical ’99 Super Bowl-winning season.
The flag football game featured stars such as Dick Vermeil, Mike Martz, Kurt Warner, Torry Holt and Ricky Proehl, among others, and it helped raise money for Bruce’s foundation.
