So, let’s just say it hasn’t been a great day for Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills.

First, it was news that Buffalo’s No. 19 overall pick, DE Shaq Lawson from Clemson, would be undergoing shoulder surgery on Tuesday. The surgery is likely to keep him sidelined for up to half of the 2016 season.

And now, news out of Buffalo is that the injury bug has now hit Sammy Watkins. The wide receiver, who led the team in receiving with 60 catches for 1,047 yards and 9 touchdowns in his second NFL season in ’15, reportedly broke a small bone in his foot. The 22-year old, according to Ian Rapoport, underwent surgery a few weeks ago. Luckily, he should be available to return around the time training camp rolls around late in the summer.

Here’s to a speedy recovery for both Mr. Lawson and Mr. Watkins.
