Sad news in the NFL world today.
Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn passed away in a car accident earlier this morning.
The 12-year veteran and former Ohio State standout was 43 years old.
Glenn was selected seventh overall by the New England Patriots in the 1996 NFL Draft.
The Pro Bowl receiver would play the first six years of his pro career in New England before spending one in Green Bay and the last five in Dallas.
Over those 12 seasons, Glenn reeled in 593 catches for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns. He put up four 1,000-yard seasons and played in nine career postseason games.
Rest in peace, Terry Glenn.
