Jarrett Stidham, Class of 2015 Quarterback
Stephenville High School (Texas)
6’3″/190 pounds
40-yard Dash: 4.57

Committed: Texas Tech Red Raiders (March 2014)

As a five-star quarterback recruit, Stidham was pursued vigorously by big-time Division I schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Texas, Notre Dame, Miami, Oklahoma and Penn State, among many others. But the five-star recruit, despite a couple dozen offers, chose to stay in-state and take his football talents to Texas Tech upon his arrival in 2016.

Due to graduate this December, the 6’2″ QB will have plenty of time to get acclimated to the college lifestyle and learn head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s playbook. It also doesn’t hurt that Kingsbury, TT’s second all-time leading passer, will be coaching the 17-year old Stidham.

Stidham is ranked as the nation’s top dual-threat quarterback among his class of 2015 seniors, and is ranked in the top 50 overall throughout the U.S. He led his Yellow Jackets last fall with over 2,600 yards and 30 touchdowns through the air and 821 yards, 14 touchdowns on the ground.
2013 stats: 156/254 (60%), 2,613 passing yards, 30 TDs, 5 INT; 821 yards, 14 rushing TDs on 138 attempts
