Farmer, the class of ’14 PSU commit, took some time out of his busy schedule to speak with us here at All-Out Blitz about his future on the football field.

All Out Blitz: What swayed you to choose Penn State?

Koa Farmer: “Honestly, it was the coaches. They are the No. 1 motivating staff in the Nation, and the academics speak for itself.”

AOB: What kind of player are the Nittany  Lions getting in Koa Farmer?

Farmer: “I am a big kid for both my age and position, and I have a good football IQ, along with great speed.”

AOB: If you weren’t playing football, what sport would you be playing?

Farmer: “I would have to say I’d probably be running track.”

AOB: What you are most looking forward to by attending State College?

Farmer: “Penn State has a major that highly interests me in Forensic Science, so I am excited for the research and the lab work I’ll be doing while attending the school.”

Farmer flipped his commitment from Cal-Berkley to Penn State following a January 25 campus visit. He combines outstanding athleticism, strength, speed and football instincts to make big plays on the field. He has the ability to play Safety or linebacker for Penn State in the coming years.
