Former Penn State placekicker Sam Ficken went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, but he’s finally found a home in the National Football League.

Ficken, 23, has been signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars and will join its 90-man roster heading into camp.

Ficken was a Second Team All Big Ten selection with the Nittany Lions in 2014, and kicked in two Bowl games during his collegiate career.

Ficken attended Kansas City Chiefs mini camp last summer, but did not have a team during the 2015 season. He’ll at least help give current placekicker Jason Myers some friendly competition for a few weeks during training camp. Myers, 25, converted 26 of his 30 field goal attempts (86.7%) as a rookie last season.
