It’s been a rough week for the University of Miami Hurricanes football program, firing head coach Al Golden following an embarrassing 58-0 shutout loss to Clemson––the worst loss in program history.

But perhaps today’s insane game-winning kickoff return touchdown, which includes eight laterals, will make up for all of the recent heartbreak?

Just take a look for yourself:

At the end of the segment above, the referee announced that there was a block in the back on the play, but the flag was picked up following a lengthy review of the return.

So with no time left on the clock, the ‘Canes defeated the No. 22-ranked Duke Blue Devils, 30-27 to improve to 5-3 on the season and hand the Devils its second loss. What a start for interim coach Larry Scott, huh?
