February 3, 2016 • Ben Heck • Breaking News, Free Agency, Front Page, NFC East, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have already had an incredibly busy off-season, and it’s only February 3rd.

After firing head coach/GM Chip Kelly, the front office brought in Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson to replace Kelly at the helm. And that’s when the real work began.

Jim Schwartz was named defensive coordinator, Frank Reich brought in as the offensive coordinator, and in the past week alone the front office has signed four key players to long-term, lucrative contract extensions.

It started with tight end Zach Ertz signing a five-year contract through the 2021 season on January 25, and culminated with defensive end Vinny Curry signing a five-year deal yesterday. Here are the newest contract extension signings for Philly (in order):

TE Zach Ertz: five-years, $42.5 million ($20M guaranteed)
TE Brent Celek: three-years, $13 million ($6M guaranteed)
OT Lane Johnson: six-years, $59 million ($35.5M guaranteed)
DE Vinny Curry: five-years, $47.25 million ($23M guaranteed)
