Pro Football Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy Passes Away

Pro Football Hall of Fame member Cortez Kennedy has tragically passed away at the young age of 48 on Tuesday, May 23.

The defensive tackle played 11 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks (1990-2000), tallying 668 total tackles, 58.0 sacks, 3 interceptions and 11 forced fumbles in 153 starts (167 total games played).

The eight-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro was a force to be reckoned with in offensive backfields, wrecking opposing offensive lines throughout the 1990s.

UPDATE: Seattle will wear a #96 helmet decal honoring Kennedy throughout the 2017-18 season.
