As we enter Week 11 of the NFL season, each team has something to fight for. The playoff scenarios are beginning to become clear, and some teams are going to be more desperate than others as they try to claw their way to a W in this week’s games. There’s plenty of great action, but some matchups rise above the rest. Here is the action that you absolutely cannot afford to miss in Week 11.

Dallas Cowboys (2-7) @ Miami Dolphins (4-5)
1:00 PM on Sunday

At 4-5, the Miami Dolphins are still alive in the AFC Wild Card race. But the real story here is the Dallas Cowboys, who will have QB Tony Romo back on schedule for this game. At 2-7, the Cowboys should be dead in the water, but they’re still alive thanks to the wildness that is the NFC East. They’re 2.5 games (3 in the loss column) behind the Giants, and they may be a whole new team with Romo back in the lineup. All seven of the Cowboys’ losses came in games that Romo didn’t start. Can they get back on track and make a desperate late-season run with him back under center? If they can, it will have to start this Sunday. All eyes will be on the Cowboys as they attempt to prove that Romo was the only missing piece to their squad.

Green Bay Packers (6-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (7-2)
4:25 PM on Sunday

The Green Bay Packers have lost three straight games. They desperately need a win to right the ship, but they won’t get an easy opponent this week. Instead, they’ll have to deal with a divisional rival.

While the Packers went down to the Lions last week, the Vikings surged past them to lay claim to first place in the NFC North. This Vikings team is entirely legit, and beating the Packers would give them a commanding lead in the division while cementing their reputation as contenders. This game is immensely important for both teams, and it may be the key factor in the duel for the NFC North. The Packers were pre-season Super Bowl favorites, but the young Vikings are playing better football right now. NFC North rivalry games are always good, but this one is extra-special.

Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (7-2)
8:30 PM on Sunday

There is no Week 11 matchup more exciting than this one. It’s a potential Super Bowl preview, with the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in prime time. The Cards are coming off of a huge win in Seattle in last week’s Sunday Night Football game, and they’ll be back in the same time slot for this showdown. The Bengals, meanwhile, are coming off of an embarrassing prime time loss to the Houston Texans and will be looking to reassert themselves and dispel all talk of the prime time jitters. The Cardinals have a strong defense, which could give the Bengals trouble – Cincinnati wilted in the face of a strong Texans pass rush last week. This will be a fun one to watch.
